Summer Sessions Update #4

Hello All,

Two month’s in, going strong. I’m pulled over in Southern Iowa right now on route to B & B Sports in Delhi, IA. Last night we watched game 7 at a local sports bar. What a series between Carolina and Edmonton. And thanks to Gladys (Our Navigation System) for guiding us to a place on route to see the game. I don’t know how I survived for the last 5 years without my Kenwood hook up.

We arrived in Lenexa, KS on Wednesday the 7th of May. Bob Hollaway and Jamie Lamar had us all set up at the local Marina. It was a great site right by the dock with boat in slip and 3 full days of students. The lake was a bit of a challenge on Saturday but we made the best of it. On Friday night we took a ride into Kansas City to eat at Kansas’ renowned BBQ place. Wow, it was so good, I had BBQ lamb and stunk the whole next day, it was the best.

We packed up on the 11th and went to visit our students The Cahail Family, in Lake of the Ozarks. We enjoyed 2 great days off and played a bit on the water and on the golf course. It was nice to have some down time to keep a little sanity.

On the 14th we drove the rest of the way to my old friends at Extreme Power Sports in Greenville, IL. About 45 minutes east of St. Louis. This was the 5th year of clinics with Dan, Anita, Karen and Steve. But we all now Kyle and Rick are the backbone. They have a private man made lake named TTKAKA just across 70 with Dan and Steve’s house separated by a dock with a Slalom and Wakeboard boat hanging in the lifts. Dream come true. We had another 3 days of booked solid clinics. We had lots of great dinners and solved most of the world’s problems the rest of the night. All in all, a perfect clinic, as always. We also helped sell 2 boats during the clinic a Supra 21 V and Moomba LSV. They have also graced the highway with a great looking new Billboard. I can’t believe they didn’t have to put an extension on it for the chin though.

On Sunday the 18th we went and played tourist at a local Winery and then off to the Gateway Arch. We are booked pretty solid at B & B as well so I better get driving so that I can get the Boat and Bus cleaned before we start, ahh…my favorite part.
