Orlando, Florida – OWC will host the third stop of the USA Cable Wakeboard Tour on June 18. Sanctioned by USAWakeboard, the competition will feature wakeboarders and wakeskaters ranging from local amateurs to national and international professionals.
Now in its fourth year, the USA Cable Wakeboard Tour continues to build on the growing popularity of cable wakeboarding around the world. Top riders from all over the US will be on hand. Riders such as Rob Mapp, Donald Shelbrick, Chad Forrest, Josh Rice, Brad Federspiel, and Keith Lidberg will showcase why they are top names in the sport, throwing just about every trick one can think of, and then some.
“The riders just keep stepping it up year after year,” said David Cornwall, founder and director of the USA Cable Wakeboard Tour. “Enthusiasm for the sport and rapid growth we’ve seen over the last several years only promises great things to come in the years ahead. Organized cable wakeboard and wakeskate competitions in the US just keep getting better and better. Everyone is encouraged to come out and see why this sport is so much fun!”
Qualifying rounds begin at 9:00am on Saturday. Admission is free to all spectators. For more details on cable wakeboarding or the competition, check out www.orlandowatersports.com.
