Ronix Covin 143 2007

Fast boards don’t have to ride slow. This is a series of boards that generates a lot of angle without burying the rail. Hard-edging, quick-reacting boards usually generate speed by sitting deep in the water, but the Covin is a new style of charger with a sharp centerline rail and more of a vertical sidewall in the leading edge. As a result, this board sets a strong edge, but still rides higher on the water with more glide than any other style of fast board Chad Sharpe has ridden.

Special features:

1. Variable edge: Moves sharply into a vertical rail, so the Covin reacts quicker than any other Ronix board.

2. Thin profile and stiff glass layup: Reduce swing weight for easier spinning.

3. Simple bottom shape: Because the board lands with more forward momentum
