Tail Grab

**

Tail
**1. When you suck your legs up to grab, you actually create momentum upward, which helps you stay floaty. Don’t pull your legs up slowly or reach down for the grab, or you will land sooner than you expect. Stand tall through the wake and wait till you’re at the peak of the jump to begin your legs-up motion. Once there, you should pull upward fast to create the floaty feeling, and grab the board by boning your front leg and bending your back leg.

2. Try to learn a tail bone. Grabs like this one are often neglected and should be more popular than they are. Leave the wake with your front knee high. At the peak of your height, push your front leg down and bone it out. Bend your back knee to pull the tail up toward you for the grab.
