**1. Grabbing the tail of the board helps you get into an ideal backside spinning position. Try to think about doing a tail grab backside air first to set your axis.

2. Make sure you are strong at all three handle-pass options. The two that will help you the most are the cuffed and blind landings. Knowing all three (early handle pass, cuffed and blind) gives you options if you make a mistake in the air.
