Back Lip

So far, we’ve showed you how to build a rail and get a good approach into it so you can stay on. Now let’s move onto something that’s a little more tech: the back lip.

Take a mellow edge into the rail.
Let off your edge, and begin your ollie.
Make sure you get your board over the rail, then rotate your tail over the rail.
Slap your board on at an angle.
Your momentum will level you out.
Keep your handle low.
Keep your weight on your heels and your chest up.

Cause and Effect
**Make sure you spot the rail ahead of yourself and not behind you. This will help you with your balance. If your chest is up, and you’re looking down the rail, it will keep your weight on your heels
