Approach the wake with a progressive heelside edge. As you leave the wake, pull the handle to your hips with two hands, simultaneously poking the board in the opposite direction of a normal 360. (Practice your wake-to-wake twisters, a.k.a. shifties, first) Aggressively pull the rope with your rear hand through the small of your back to your far hip. Drop your lead hand for the handle pass and continue rotating your hips toward the shore you are approaching. Grab the handle with your rear hand, turning your wrist over as if putting it in your pocket. Look at shoreline for orientation and to stop the rotation.
