Hoochie Glide

First things first: This is not a Raley. It helps to know a Raley, but don’t have that mind-set when trying this trick. You want to approach the wake with a mellow heelside progressive edge, standing directly over the top of the board. As you leave the wake bring the board up underneath you and grab with your lead hand as soon as you come off the wake. The key here is to take the trick straight up and grab the board before you extend it up and behind you. Keep your rear arm in as close as possible to your body, making it easier to pull the board back down and hold on to that grab. When you’re ready to bring the board down, pull the handle to your hips and throw the board back underneath you, using the hand that is grabbing.
