Rob Gracie doesn't have much experience in two areas: going to photography class or riding a wakeboard. His grandfather got him started with taking pictures at 11, and Rob just taught himself from there. As for riding, Gracie's knees are admittedly too fragile for that kind of daily punishment.
If you ask Rob how he creates all these killer photo images, he'll probably tell you matter-of-factly, "I just look through the lens and push the button." But there's no disguising his joy when he sees an avid wakeboarder pick up a magazine, look at one of his pictures and exclaim, "Yeeeaah, check out this shot!" For Rob this is the ultimate compliment, seeing a reader stoked with his art.
