Pro Wakeboard Tour Partners with Fantasy Action Sports League

Ever thought about who you would sign if you managed your own wakeboard team? Rusty Malinoski, Phillip Soven, JD Webb. Well now you can, as the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour partners with the Fantasy Action Sports League to create the Wake Fantasy League. Tour organizer World Sports & Marketing announced today the partnership with FASL that will allow fans to build an online fantasy wakeboard team that follows the results from the 2009 PWT season.

The Wake Fantasy League allows users to register a Fantasy Wake Team in each of the five events on the 2009 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. Each Team Manager is supplied with a $160 million Team Salary Cap, in which they can sign as many as 10 athletes from the list of 40 to their team. Athletes on each team will be allotted points based on actual results from the Pro Tour. The team with the most points at the end of the season wins. Managers will compete for hundreds of prizes and more than $7,000 in cold, hard cash.

To celebrate the launch of the Wake Fantasy League, FASL is offering a one-time-only free entry into Event No. 1 and a chance to win more than $1,000 in cash and prizes. An entry normally costs $9.99. The first event, in Fort Worth, Texas, starts on May 29, so participants must register now for a chance at $1,000 in cash and prizes.
