Nike 6.0’s Raging Pull, Stop 1

Nike 6.0’s new grassroots wake series, Raging Pull, will kick off May 24 in the backyard of 6.0 wakeskater Ben Horan’s Nahunta, Georgia, home. The event, which is free and open to all, will include a freshly built winch pond, music by DJ Dan CE and a home-cooked feast courtesy of Horan’s mother and sister. Nike 6.0 wake team manager Silas Thurman will handle announcing duties.

Nike 6.0 recently dug a 100-foot-long pond and 40-foot x 60-foot pool in Horan’s backyard for the event. The setup includes a pool gap, two hubba ledges and a hand rail. Two winches and O’Neill life vests will be available to anyone who wants to ride.

“I can’t wait to see the level of riding that goes on,” Horan says, “and I’m psyched I’ll have a pond in my backyard forever.”
