LAKE OF THE OZARKS, MO. — MasterCraft’s Midwestcoast(tm) Summerfest is shaping up to be the biggest wakeboard competition in the nation’s heartland. On for its third year, Summerfest is set for June 3-4 at a new location, Lake of the Ozarks State Park, Public Beach #1. This free, fun-filled weekend will feature a wakeboard competition and demonstrations, plus music, food, exhibitors and more.
The highlight of MasterCraft’s Midwestcoast(tm) Summerfest III will be nation’s top 15-20 riders competing in the invite only pro division. With names like Shaun Murray, Andrew Adkison, Parks & Shane Bonifay, Nick Heaney, Danny Harf, Eric Ruck, Chad Sharpe, and Shawn Watson, the tricks will be huge. Also added this year is the “Maeghan Major Invitational” which will bring the top female riders to compete in a shoot-out of wakeboarding.
Divisions for all skill levels, from novice to outlaw (semi-pro) including a new female amateur division will offer serious cash and prizes. Jonas Farrell, Summerfest chairman notes, “With a new location, MasterCraft on board, a pro invitational, and a slew of other changes we’ve made, we really have a totally new event on hand.”
Exhibitors will include MasterCraft, the official boat of Summerfest, in addition to the top wakeboard manufacturers offering demos and the newest products.
