2014 Super Air Nautique G23 Review

Wakeboard Boat Review

Few wakeboard boats have made the kind of splash that the Super Air Nautique G23 created when it debuted back in the spring of 2012. Since then, the downright massive wakes of this Wake Games towboat have lifted pros to a bevy of never-before-seen tricks and inspired the rest of us to take our riding to the next level. Thanks to a dry weight of nearly 2 tons and almost 3,000 pounds of subfloor factory-installed ballast, the G23 has a clean, consistent and big wake right out of the box. In fact, the majority of advanced riders won't even have to consider adding more weight. But that shouldn't scare away families or crews with less advanced riders. One of the great things about the G series line is its versatile hull, which allows you to scale wakes based on a rider's skill level. Press one button in the LINC System, and you can go from massive, pro-level wakes to approachable ramps for beginners without sacrificing 'the long transitions and crisp lips the G23 is known for. Outfit the G23 with the optional Nautique Surf System, and you can go from elite wakeboarding wakes to a huge surf wake on either side of the boat all without having to wait. With NSS, you can now switch your surf wave to either side of the boat on the fly, which makes this big, stylish boat even more versatile and opens up new options for surf tricks, such as wake-to-wake transfers and switch surfing. Nautique spent a ton of time developing a hull that would throw a huge wake without sacrificing driving performance. The Nautique Configurable Running Surface automatically adapts itself to the conditions, so you get great responsiveness, turning and power no matter the variables.

The Nautique G23 is the best wakeboard boat for you if: You want elite wakeboarding and wakesurfing performance in a big boat that's as functional as it is comfortable for you and 15 friends or family members.
