Big congratulations goes to Paris Nichole for winning the Miss TransWorld WAKEBOARDING Model Search for 2012! Paris is featured on the cover and in a spread in our Fall issue as well as a special edition Rockstar Energy cover. Pick up the magazine and see it for yourself. As only the second person to win the title, we caught up with Paris despite her busy photo schedule, to see how she feels about winning. There were so many good pictures that couldn’t all fit in the issue that we put them together for you here.

Congrats on the win, what are you looking forward to as Miss TransWorld Wake 2012?
Right now I’m really looking forward to Surf Expo. I can’t wait to hang out at the TransWorld booth and maybe sign some magazines!
In your monthly winner interview you mentioned that the Bonifay’s were your favorite riders. Any other riders impress you since then?
So many, Orlando is filled with talented riders and I’m stoked to see MTV’s Wake Brothers bringing attention to the scene! (I would love to see a ladies of wake episode, maybe featuring Dallas Friday and Jen GilanFarr?)
Your photos have been popping up more frequently since your monthly win in December, has your modeling been flourishing?
It has been! I have to say, for a 20-something year old, I have the most amazing job and I take full advantage of the opportunities that come my way.
During the shoot, it was your idea to get some shots posing on the rail. Any plans for hitting one with a board on your feet?
Hmm…That would take a lot of convincing and maybe a little bribing to get me to attempt that. I think I should leave hitting rails to the Pro’s.
What would you tell girls with hopes of following in your footsteps as Miss TransWorld Wake 2012?
I would wish them all the best and maybe tell them to stick to their own style and as always, have fun with it!
What is something about you that most people wouldn’t expect?
I think an unexpected part of my personality is that when I’m not in front of a camera or working, I’m actually a pretty shy. I’m ok spending time with me. I think it comes from being an only child.
What is your life motto?
There are two that come to mind; together they explain how I try to live my life;“Do all things with love” and “Do what makes you happy.”
Anything else you want to add?
I had so much fun shooting with TransWorld Wake! The location we shot at was a randomly placed slice of paradise and the abs workout I got from laughing so hard with the guys was pretty intense.
