On April 5, 2009, in Windermere, FL, ten riders took to the water under azure skies for what many consider to be the first real pro wakeboard competition of the year with proceeds going to the local Rotary Club. The level of riding was surprisingly high considering the “Victory at Sea” conditions (thanks to local boating) and the riders still shaking the dust off from the winter season. Check out Sunday's two-heat semi-final and four-man finals battle here. Special thanks to Shawn Murray for making all of this possible. Be sure to also check out the video of Drunky the Bear from The Monsters in the Morning on 104.1 doing a trick ski demonstration before the contest started; check that video out here.
